LANGUAGE IN USE, pp 50-51

 

1.- Completethe graphics with PREFIXES and SUFFIXES from the text. Write the affix and an example.

Complete el gráfico de prefijos y sufijos con vocabulario de la lectura. Identifica el afijo y escribe un ejemplo.

 

2.- Compare the words below. If they are SYNONYMS write them inside the double cell. If they are ANTONYMS write them in the right and left space outside the double cell.

Compara las palabras que se enlistan abajo en letras rojas. Si es que son sinónimos escríbelos en la célula interior amarilla. Para los antónimos utiliza los espacios fuera de la intersección.

 

3.- Write the following words from the slant lines with correct orthography.

Escribe las palabras que siguen con correcta ortografía.

 

4.- Look at the expressions and the phrases below. They are common mistakes made among Spanis-speakers. Discuss each one and rewrite them correctly.
